In the automation organization we are 200+ people, all committed to change the way of mining by automating our equipment and processes. You will be a part of the automation management team consisting of a Vice President and eight other managers. Throughout the whole automation team there is an open and inspiring climate which is characterized by cooperation and commitment. We are looking forward to having you in our team. 

Your mission
As the manager of Underground drilling application team, you will lead several agile teams, in total 40 developers. Your mission will be to ensure that our products in your technology area, positions us as the leading technology supplier on the world market. 
In this role you are going to have an extensive cooperation with other engineering and marketing teams in the company as well as external partners and consultancies. You will work with various competences, scales of projects and platforms to drive innovation and the digital transformation in your technology area. Regarding your team of developers, we see that you keep on developing the agile way of working, taking care of your employees according to Epiroc´s values; Commitment, Collaboration, and Innovation, to ensure that everyone feel welcome and included.

Your profile
You have a university degree in computer science or equivalent, combined with five or more years of people management experience and proven leadership skills. We also see that you have experience from agile Software development. We are on a journey from traditional embedded software development to model based and DevOps based development and skills in this type of transformation is a merit. English skills are essential in this role.

Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel is required.
