Working in a transformational environment is an opportunity to think on your feet. You’ll be involved in the following areas:
Drive the execution and delivery of material design projects including active participation and mentorship of junior employees
Take a lead role in project planning, development and documentation
Hold accountability for delivery in assigned design control roles for development and change projects
Ensuring technical documentation is up to date and fully industry compliant
Maintaining existing and developing knowledge of new packaging materials
Securing supply for existing product solutions by working with internal partners and material suppliers
Actively coaching Packaging Developers to advance their existing skillsets
Suggesting continuous improvements to processes, work instructions and ways of working
Taking the lead for technical aspects during discussions and negotiations with appointed suppliers and acting as a subject matter partner to procurement and SQA for packaging issues

What you’ll need
Demonstrable knowledge of packaging development process
Previous experience working in similar highly regulated environment
Knowledge of manufacturing and design transfer process
Proven team leadership would be highly desirable
Prior exposure to Global Regulatory Requirements and standards
Solid understanding of Quality Management Systems and design control
Academic background in engineering or product design would be beneficial
Fluent written and spoken English language
Specific work history with medical devices would also be advantageous
