Ballast water treatment is one of the big growth potentials in the maritime industry, driven by environmental legislation. PureBallast - a system developed by Alfa Laval and Wallenius Water, prevents the spread of invasive organisms between the oceans. We have a market leading position since the launch in 2006, and we sell systems to ship owners and shipyards worldwide. In the coming years the business in this global market will grow rapidly. We will extend our team with a passionate Regional Business Manager to our team in Tumba. So, what are you going to do today?

Who are youWe need a person with excellent ability to communicate, build relations, trust intuition and work on his /her own command. The role is designed for you who appreciate teamwork but also work independent. Perhaps you are working with sales targeting the marine industry today, and are prepared to take on new challenges.
About the jobYou will be the main point of contact for some of our European sales compan¬ies to support their daily business. The person will also be responsible for negotiating and handling large contracts with global customers. Main tasks include:
Support Sales project, including customer meetings and quotation process
Setting, following-up and reporting on business targets and actions
Gathering market information
Coordinate global key customer negotiation
Negotiate and handle global contracts

What you know
Technical sales experience, preferably from the Maritime industry
Technical educational background on university level or a corresponding business degree
An ability to manage international projects
Great skills in English both in speech and in writing
Experience of commercial negotiations including legal matters of T&C

The PureBallast product is marketed and sold entirely by Alfa Laval and you will act within the global Alfa Laval organization, with many international contacts, both internally and externally.You will be located at the office in Tumba and employed by AlfaWall AB. Expected number of travel days is >60 days/year
