The responsibility in the position is to ensure that DORMA is being regarded as the leading provider of Premium Access Solutions and Services in the region and hence develop competitive advantage for DORMA. Main functions are to develop and implement a regional marketing strategy (products, price, communication, channels) consistent with area strategies and to efficiently manage the interface between Area Marketing and relevant regional functions.

RSMD (Regional Sales & Marketing Director) makes sure that DORMA has a clearly defined value proposition for each customer group and subsequently drives implementation. You lead all PMM (Product Marketing managers), PMT (Project Management) and Marketing Communications/ Services units in the region. RSMD will assure and constantly develop quality of staff in this field by a strategic talent management.

RSMD will also establish strong relationships with Regional Sales (e.g. pricing strategy, channel mix) and develop relationships with customers (e.g. to monitor customer satisfaction and identify changes in customer needs). A close cooperation with Area Marketing Director is essential - to adapt regional marketing strategies, represent regional requirements at group level, implement global campaigns, run market launches, identify landmark projects, CRM strategy, eBusiness activities, branding etc.

The RSMD, reporting to Regional Director and with dotted line to Area Marketing Director, will represent the ScanBalt Region as a member of the Regional Management Team. Leadership tasks are to manage and optimize the team?s performance through continuous guidance, coaching, support and to ensure that all entities and employees conduct business in line with applicable laws and regulations, as well as with global and local policies and procedures.

We are looking for a person with thorough experience from management in a similar role combining Nordic/International operational leadership, strategic orientation and P&L responsibilities. The interesting candidate is an experienced leader, accustomed to working with issues in a sales/marketing organization. Experience of developing and maintaining marketing strategies with remote leadership is highly valued.

A desirable education is an MBA or equivalent comprising fundamental marketing concepts and preferably an engineering degree/diploma. Excellent skills in Excel, Word and Power Point is a prerequisite along with fully operational knowledge in English. Possible location for the position is Gothenburg, Stockholm, Oslo or Copenhagen and there is extensive travelling in the region.

Personal characteristics wanted are business sense, goal orientation, strong analytical capabilities and personal drive. You are perceived as a communicative, proactive and open person. Your leadership style is coaching, "hands on" and supports the organization.
