Inter IKEA Systems has successfully established IKEA Tillsammans - our corporate Culture Center in Älmhult. Inter IKEA Culture Center AB (IICCAB) has been established to build up a new public IKEA Museum in the first IKEA Store in Älmhult. Inter IKEA Culture Center AB will operate both the IKEA Museum and IKEA Tillsammans.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a service minded registrar with a big interest of home furnishing, who will be part of the team that builds up the IKEA museum. Today there is a small exhibition located in IKEA Tillsammans, "IKEA through the ages" which describes the chronological design and business development of the IKEA business.

As registrar at Inter IKEA Culture Center your focus will be on the incoming artefacts for the collection. You will register all new things coming in and putting it in to the database which also includes some hands-on work "on the floor".

YOUR ASSIGNMENT

-Register artefacts in our database
-Take part in the work of our present museum "IKEA through the ages".
-Work in different projects where you are expected to perform tasks that lie outside the registrar tasks.

YOUR PROFILE

-You have a relevant education as a registrar or equivalent experience.
-Approximately 2-3 years experience working with museum collections.
-Experience in working with technical/digital tools.
-You are orderly, accurate and methodical and appreciate working in a team.
-You have an interest for home furnishing.
-You have good knowledge in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
