Volvo Cars is a company on a mission; to bring traditional car manufacturing into a connected, sustainable and smart future.
Since 1927, we have been a brand known for our commitment to safety, creating innovative cars that make life less complicated for our consumers. In 2010, we decided to transform our business, resulting in a totally new generation of cars and technologies, as well as steady growth and record sales. We are constantly pushing our own skills and abilities to drive change in the automobile industry like never before. We are looking for innovative, committed people to join us in this endeavour and create safe, sustainable and connected cars. We believe in the power of people and will challenge and support you to reach your full potential. Join us and be part of Volvo Cars’ journey into the future.

What we offer
Our customer base is growing globally and so does the spare part volumes shipped around the world. To secure an uninterrupted supply to all our markets with spare parts, we need to secure compliance to the various import regulations set by national government bodies or trade unions.
We are now seeking a Regulatory & Compliance Specialist wanting to take on this interesting challenge. The role is part of Global Logistics Operations.

Your key tasks
* Develop and maintain PS&L’s ability to fulfil applicable laws, regulations and standards required for exports/imports to our Distribution Centres (XDCs), importers and dealers
* Once regulations and requirements are interpreted by internal stakeholders, perform impact assessments on our PS&L processes
* Involve key functions to enable continuous spare part supply. E.g. matters linked to Country of Origin, certificates, labelling/label content and other documentation necessary to ship parts (primarily to non-EU markets). Secure that regulations are understood and implemented by relevant function(s)
*  Drive and secure requirements on stakeholders within and outside Volvo Cars. This could range from National Sales Companies (NSCs) and importers, to Volvo Cars Service Operations, Global Customs, R&D and Procurement
* Act as PS&L’s single point of contact in above matters. Participate in relevant regulatory network meetings
* Establish and improve procedures and processes

You and your skills
You have good knowledge and prior experience from international customs processes, trade laws and regulations. You also have genuine interest in the areas and are used to work with complex questions, and you have the ability to convert a regulatory requirement into a physical or administrative solution. A few years’ experience in a mid/large sized company is on your CV as well as experience from most transport modes such as ground/air/sea freight.

On a personal level
For this position, you need to have good communication and networking skills, high integrity, strong sense of delivery and a personal eagerness to accomplish results and getting things done - in time and with quality. You possess creativity and an open mind with the aim of finding new solutions to existing challenges. A structured approach and working method are something natural for you in everyday work.
