Research Engineer - Computational Fluid Dynamics

ALSTOM Sweden sells and supplies a wide range of products, e.g. gas and steam turbines, hydro power systems, generators and flue-gas cleaning plants, as well as trains and other products in the field of transportation. Our R&D organization is globally recognized for our knowledge in fluid dynamics and phenomena related to particle and mass transfer. We now have to expand our group specialized in this area with a Research Engineer. Your task will be to optimise the design for specific air pollution control equipment starting out from specified requirements. The design is verified and optimised in several steps in models, pilots and in full scale to generate customer-focused products and you will have the opportunity to participate in all these steps. CFD will be your main tool but you should also be able to handle experimental tools. Education: Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or similar. Experience: Advanced training in CFD and/or experience working with CFD. Fluent in English.
