At Autonomous Transport Solutions (ATS) Pre-Development & Research, Scania R&D, we are responsible for researching, developing and testing future cutting edge ATS concepts. Your responsibilities
You will be working in an agile multi-cultural research team within R&D. The team is responsible for delivering prototype software and set the path within a certain research area through innovative and practical solutions.

As a Research Engineer you contribute to design, development and evaluation of algorithms for autonomous vehicles. The system is based on a platform that incorporates situation awareness, decision making, safety management and motion planning. One of the success factors for our team is fast feedback and cross functional days focused on innovation.

Extra meritorious is


• An academic background that matches an M.Sc. in engineering physics, computer science, electrical engineering, robotics or matching work experience.
• A Ph.D. within similar research fields.
• Knowledge and experience within software languages such as C++ and Matlab/Simulink along with a keen interest in programming.
• Experience within agile development and robotic systems such as autonomous vehicles.
• If you are fluent in English both in writing and in speech.
