ICOM produces IKEA.com, which is visited around 1.6 billion times a year. We're also behind the IKEA catalogue with a yearly circulation of around 220 million copies. On top of that, we churn out a ton of content for social media, not to mention motion media and 3D work so cutting edge that it makes the folks in California sit up and take notice. So what happens in Älmhult definitely doesn't stay in Älmhult. It reaches practically every corner of the globe.

The Photo/3D/Retouch department at IKEA Communications carries out all projects towards global digital communication at IKEA, for example IKEA.com, m.IKEA.com and social media. Our mission is to create and produce excellent communication that positions IKEA as a strong, unique and meaningful brand.

Right now we're looking for a Retouch Artist with a passion for action, speed and creativity! Do you want to work together with Interior Designers, Photographers and 3D Artists to help show the many people how that can make their dreams come true? If so, you could be just the person we're looking for.

As a Retouch Artist you will:
Execute high quality retouches; secure high technical image quality and colour accuracy in different production techniques such as Photoshop and/or 3D, delivering to the brief. You will be responsible for delivering on time and contributing to creating the most efficient working situation possible. You will participate in the choice of production techniques and will be expected to keep up-to-date with developments and trends that affect your role.

To be successful in this role, you need to:

-Have been educated in image retouching, masking and appropriate graphic training and/or be able to demonstrate experience and talent.
-Have Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and color matching (physical products vs. image).
-Master the technology, tools and production methods included in the competence area of photography and CGI; mixed production 3D/photo, green screen, animation, motion media post production etc.
-Have knowledge in the print process (RGB/CMYK) and in working with both Mac and PC.
-Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.

The position is a permanent contract.
