The company behind the TrustBuddy concept is called TrustBuddy AB, and was founded in 2009. TrustBuddy is the worlds first stock listed peer-to-peer lender and the largest in Scandinavia, aiming to expand in Europe.

The company has a staff of 12, dedicated to the development and operation of TrustBuddy. Our ambition is that TrustBuddy will become synonymous with liquidity and secure lending terms between buddies.

We believe that the market has a growing need for earning better interest on investors capital and easier access to short term credit for borrowers. Our aim is to meet both needs in one place. Our intention is to continuously develop the concept to meet user needs, focusing on integration and customized solutions, and this is where TrustBuddy will focus in the future. TrustBuddy is in the process of becoming a credit market company in Sweden and is for this reason expanding its staff to meet the coming demand for compliance and risk management in the company.

We are therefore seeking to recruit a Risks & Compliance Manager to the Stockholm Office, the position reports directly to Chief Operating Officer. The person will head the functions for risk management and compliance.

Din utmaning:



Overall management of the companys risk management function.
Work closely with TrustBuddy finance management to develop and implement processes and tools to identify and assess all sources of risk including market, credit and operational risks.
Work closely with TrustBuddy Management to develop and implement the companys Risk Management Framework.
Ensure that the risk profile of the business is managed.
Develop and provide risk training on appropriate topics to management and the board of directors.
Overall management of the companys compliance function.
Act as contact person for financial supervisory authorities.
Monitor changes in the regulatory environment applicable to finance companies in general and implement in the companys business.
Continuous update sessions with management and the board of directors in regulatory and risk matters.

Din bakgrund:



Bachelor or Master degree with five to seven years of relevant experience, preferably from a consultancy background.
Broad knowledge of the regulatory framework from the financial sector in Sweden.
Ability to think creatively in a regulated environment and handle multiple complex matters.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including professional level of English, and ability to work across multiple areas of the business.
Proven ability to communicate clearly with regulators on a variety of topics affecting the organization.
Flexibility to travel.
Solution and business oriented with high integrity.
