Tamancha Import & Export AB is in the business of importing and exporting high quality organic specialty coffee beans, tea and other spices from Africa. The fact of having our own stock in Sweden makes it possible to provide a unique service with competitive prices. We provide green specialty coffee beans to roaters in Scandinavia and have also our own roastery in Sweden and sell roasted coffee under our own label.

We are now looking to widen our market in two ways:
-Explore the markets in the Middle East with initial focus on Iran and UEA (Dubai)
-Promote our products to Iranians living in Scandinavia.

We are looking for a sales and marketing person to help us approach these two markets. You will work closely with the managing director of the company in Sweden and help setting up short-term and long-term strategy for these new markets. Initially you are expected to carry out a market research about the consumption of organic coffee and tea in Dubai/Iran and later on execute the proposed plan.


Your profile:

-You will have to feel comfortable in contacting and meeting Iranian people living in Scandinavia to promote our products (main focus on Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen).
-You have experience in import and export between Dubai/Iran and Europe.
-You have established network of people/companies wholesalers (importers) in those countries (preferably in the coffee and tea business but not a requirement).
-There should be no obstacles for you in traveling to and from those countries (without having to apply for visa). Residence permit for Iran and the UEA is therefore a requirement.
-You have strong salesmanship with awareness of the business culture in that area.
-You master both Persian and English languages at business level. Any knowledge of Swedish language is a plus.


It is of great importance that you are susceptible for new marketing trends and will help putting the Swedish/Scandinavian touch on the marketing campaigns. You are an ambitious, goal oriented person, full of fresh ideas and who loves to create results. The successful person will get a great opportunity to be part of a fantastic venture with great potentials.

In addition to your resume, we expect you to write a cover letter about yourself and your idea of an innovative way for marketing our products both in the Middle East area and to people living in Scandinavia and what strategies you suggest to be used in order to stand out and reach the best result in shortest time. This letter has great impact on our selection of the right person. We will perform the first live interviews on Skype.

This is a 50% position with possibility to become a full time position.
