Summary:
The Sales Director drives revenue across The Copperberg product portfolio - city meetings, digital, and events - through his/her assigned sales team. The Sales Director develops sales strategies for revenue growth by working closely with the VP of Sales, fellow sales directors and other key department personnel within the company.

Job Responsibilities:
o Develops sales team through recruiting, selecting and growing exceptional sales talent

o Manages, develops and coaches sales team and holds them accountable against metrics.

o Drives for revenue goal attainment, monthly, quarterly and annually while regularly reporting revenue projections and forecasts.

o Leads the strategic development of event programs to drive revenue and achieve business objectives.

o Cultivates market insights and finds new opportunities while helping to grow share with the existing base of customers.

Skills:
o Possess extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others on them.

o Has demonstrated leadership experience in sales organizations, including experience building and developing a team of sales professionals.

o Possess deep and broad business acumen with strong analytical, decision making and problem solving skills.

o Able to multi-task and balance multiple priorities.

o Has excellent verbal and written communications skills including delivering effective presentations and leading meetings.

o Proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
