Vehicle Service Market (VSM) is the automotive aftermarket business unit within the SKF Automotive Division.We service the independent aftermarket with products, services and concepts for cars and commercial vehicles.Our customers range from distributors to retailers and garages around the world.VSM Nordic is in a very positive trend and as the previous Sales Manager has been promoted within SKF, we are now looking for successor to take over the distribution sales in automotive aftermarket in Sweden.Sales Manager, Distribution Vehicle Service Market (VSM), Nordic The holder of this position will be a part of the Nordic sales team of around 10 people for the automotive aftermarket and report to the Sales & Marketing Director for the Nordic region.The main focus will be to maintain and develop sales to all customer segments.As a VSM representative preferably based in the Stockholm region the Sales Manager will take responsibility for the automotive aftermarket distribution business for all of Sweden.In practice this will mean to operate from a home office and spend most time at our customers.Main purpose of the role: Responsible for overall short and long term planning, development and operations to ensure efficient achievement of sales, marketing and operating objectives Stimulates customers and market to maximize penetration Conduct training of customer sales force and installer level Create good personal relationships to all key customers Responsible for his own results (P & L responsibility) Meet with customers all over Sweden and spending most of the working hours at customers Key responsibilities: Actively work to improve and expand customer base, primarily on the independent distributor business Develop, support, initiate and follow up of local strategic and action plans in line with Business unit targets and objectives Continuously monitoring the result development to avoid surprises and if and when needed immediate initiate corrective actions Updating information on local market development and trend and adapt local plans accordingly Knowledge and experience required: Knowledge and good understanding of overall business and the automotive aftermarket is a must Documented sales results from similar position Local language and very good English level Technical knowledge within automotive or similar businesses Experience user of MS Office package Skilled in developing and implementing strategies for profitable growth Proactively seeks customer intelligence and create new opportunities Develop customer strategy and apply SKF value offering Strong understanding of customer relationship management and value creation.Excellent communication, presentation and time management skills.
