Are you an encouraging and efficient sales manager, with good influencing skills, who is ready to take on a highly autonomous role that can make a significant impact?
At Business Area (BA) Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions (SMR) we’re now looking for a new Sales Process Owner. We offer you the opportunity to make this position your own and drive the continuous improvement of our sales processes, ensuring systems and adoption of practical and efficient ways of working on a global scale. What you will do
Acting as the entire business area’s process owner for sales processes, you maintain and enhance common and effective processes to manage sales – from lead to quote. You manage improvements and changes for our lead capturing, opportunity qualification, customer interactions, configuration and quotation management systems, ensuring that they’re up-to-date and meeting SMR business requirements. To guarantee correct fit for purpose, you align the developments with our divisions and sales areas through a network of SME (Subject Matter Experts) and Key Users. You also lead or act as representative in various projects and initiatives where Sales Processes and platforms are impacted.
The location for this position is flexible within Northern Europe, preferably in Scandinavia. Some travel, a handful of times per year, to engage with internal stakeholders or visiting customers, is part of your job.

What you need to succeed
For this mission we need someone with a background in Sales management, combined with an understanding of processes and sales platforms typically used to support those processes such as CRM, CPQ, and more. You have fundamental knowledge of pipeline management and experience working in complex, interdisciplinary, cross-functional and global teams. You’re familiar with Salesforce or similar CRM, and related digital platforms for managing leads, business opportunities and quoting in a large organization. Having a background as a change leader makes you comfortable managing and embedding significant change within a large global organization. Working in a global setting calls for excellent communication skills in English, both in written and verbal form.
You’re a highly motivated and enthusiastic person with a passion and commitment for doing things in the most efficient way possible. Being able to multi-task, you easily manage several projects without sacrificing the schedule or quality and you continuously demonstrate self-awareness – seeking feedback to develop both as a person and in your way of working. You’re good at building trustful relationships and your clear way of communicating is the exact tool you need to manage all kinds of stakeholders as well as to engage and inspire people you encounter.
