The Role
As Sales Responsible you are the link between IKEA of Sweden and Retail. You will initiate and push activities to secure global sales results and you make sure that our customers have an enjoyable, convenient and successful shopping experience at IKEA.

Your Responsibilities would include:
- Securing the range potentials on the global market and identifying the competence needs in sales and secure and supporting the actions in retail.
- Developing the customer service package needed to optimise the sales and to steer and support the merchandising platform and sales solutions in the stores.
- Clearly communicating business strategies and priorities to the Sales Leaders the different countries in a way that motivates them to take ownership for their part in achieving the overall goals.
- Initiating and pushing activities to secure sales results and steer pricing investments
- Being the expert knowledge provider about the customer's behavior in the buying situation.
- Deciding the recommended prices on a global level through a competitive pricing of the range.

Most importantly - You love working in sales!
We are looking for a colleague with a sound retail background. You have strong communication skills and you have previously lead diverse teams successfully. You may have experience from sales planning, pricing processes, store planning and/or supply flow. You want to make a difference here and now, but most importantly with a longer perspective. You can think strategically, you are goal oriented, curious and ambitious and you speak and write English fluently.

As a Sales Responsible, you will be a part of the Commercial Team, reporting to the Commercial Manager and you will work closely with the people who develop the range and supply it to our customers.
