Sales Support Manager Expancel

AkzoNobel Pulp and Performance Chemicals (PPC) is a leading global force in pulp bleaching technologies, lloidal silica and expandable microspheres. We provide innovative and sustainable products and technologies that are widely used by customers in a large variety of industrial applications. Performance is one of the three sub business units within AkzoNobel Pulp and Performance Chemicals. We operate four product lines: Expancel, Levasil, Kromasil and Fine Chemicals. Our head office is located in Bohus, Sweden.

Stockvik is one of the largest AkzoNobel-sites in Sweden, with 380 people working in three different business units: Pulp and Performance Chemicals, Surface Chemistry and Wood Finishes and Adhesives. We are now looking for a person with experience and high interest in leadership, ready to take on a new exciting challenge within AkzoNobel.

We have one opening as Sales Support Manager to Expancel within AkzoNobel in Sundsvall. In this position you report to Sales & Marketing Director and will have about 6-10 direct reports.

As our Sales Support Manager your focus will be to lead and develop the Sales Support Team, and ensure that we provide world class customer service to our customers.

Main duties and responsibilities
- Attract, lead, coach, appraise and develop employees, ensure staffing and stimulate talent management
- Align the department?s operational targets with the business? strategy and annual objectives
- Manage the Order To Cash (OTC) cycle for the demands from the global customer base.
- (Co)develop, implement and optimize work processes, techniques and systems by means of continuous improvements and leveraging on best practice.
- Ensure that procedures and competence of Sales / Customer Support team is up to standards and regulations, laws, and AkzoNobel procedures
- Act as focal point on Sales / Customer Support and OTC process related issues for Marketing and Sales team, Logistics, Planning, Controlling, Production and Site Logistics

Qualifications
- Academic background or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, logistics or similar
- Excellent knowledge and experience in working in SAP environment
- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office programs
- Minimum 2 years of experience in managing a team of at least 5 employees
- Excellent knowledge in English, both written and spoken
