The position
Itella is now looking for a Scandinavian Sourcing Manager who will be based in Sweden, preferrably Gothenburg. The purpose of this role will be to lead, develop and manage the Transport (Road, Air and Sea) category.

Main responsibilities and targets are:
- Lead and facilitate the Business Group wide category stakeholders
- Collect business requirements, and based on them contribute to Global Category strategy creation
- Implement category strategy on Business Group level and ensure cost optimal sourcing
- Development and implementation of sourcing processes and tools according to category practices
- Build up, ensure and manage an efficient Supplier Base and Code of Contract Compliance
- Identify sourcing synergies, targets and savings. Follow up and execution of action plans, accountable for achieving category targets and business case realization

Required experience
We are seeking a self-starting person with a hands-on mentality who has a solid experience and know-how from the transportation sector. You should posses change management capabilities and be able to build bridges between stakeholders. You should be used to work in a complex cross-functional matrix environment.

Requirements include:
- Relevant industry experience of 5 years
- Good experience in project management and development of sourcing/supply chain management in an international environment
- Excellent communication and networking skills. Fluent in English written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel (up to 50 days/year)
- Higher university degree or equivalent
- Experienced user of MS Office in general and MS Excel in particular (advanced user)
