We are currently looking to recruit a Scientist in Cell Culture, reporting to Service Delivery Manager. This role is a permanent position.
The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the Cell culture and Purification team, Analytical team, project managers as well as with other functions within the organization.

The main duties will include:
- Development of mammalian cell culture processes for biopharmaceutical production as part of customer contracts
o Generation of study plans
o Cell culture in shake flasks and bioreactors from 10 ml to 250 L in batch, fed batch or perfusion mode
o Standard process analysis
o Documentation of activities and generation of study reports
- Technical trouble-shooting
- Maintenance and calibration of equipment
- Purchase of services, goods and equipment
- Raw material handling
- Cell culture coordinator in customer projects

Qualifications:
- Education in engineering, biotechnology or similar
- Proven skills in cell culture technology at bioreactor scale
- English and Swedish language skills

The individual will be expected to interact at all levels of the organisation and should be able to demonstrate accuracy, responsibility and good communication skills. The position will be based at the Södertälje site.
