Security Engineer

Our customer Axiomatics is looking for a Security Engineer to be part of their engineering organization working with security-related questions, design, analysis, and security testing.

Axiomatics can offer you an exciting position in downtown Stockholm in a growing organization that serves some of the world’s leading companies within banking, insurance, media, manufacturing, as well as government departments.

What will you be doing?

Your will work with the security of Axiomatics software solutions with one or more of the product teams and become knowledgeable with the products and drive the process of penetration testing. You will contribute to the design of new product features and evaluate the impact of product changes from a security standpoint.

Other responsibles you have:

- Hold security reviews and security risk assessments of the products.
- Stay current and abreast of security vulnerabilities and keep engineers in the know.
- Help implement security engineering methods and approaches, design, analysis, and training.
- Keep software engineers up to date with secure coding, systems, and best security engineering practices.

And last but not least you will contribute to a strong understanding and respect for secure software development within the organization.

Who are you?

You are currently working with security in a secure software development environment. You have good experience in Java and automated development tools. As a person, you are open and communicative, and may have provided security training for your colleagues or customers. You enjoy learning and staying up to date with security threats and their countermeasures.

What skills and experience should you have?

- Bachelor degree or higher and at least five years’ work experience within security engineering
- Experience with security standards is beneficial
- Good knowledge of current information security threats
- Experience and expertise with secure coding practices
- Experience with software design and architecture
- Experience with security testing tools
- Must have work experience in security testing

You are used to work in a dynamic and fast changing environment with agile experience such as Scrum and Kanban. You have experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery and have excellent communication skills in the English language, both written and verbal.
