In this position you will be a part of Thermo Fisher Scientific's Research and Safety Market Division, which delivers over 800,000 different products to a wide range of customers helping them to accelerate life sciences research, solve complex analytical challenges, improve patient diagnostics and increase laboratory productivity.

You will be joining a Finance team of 9 at RSD Nordics and you will report into a manager based in Denmark. We recently moved to a newly built office and warehouse on Hisingen where nearly 50 colleagues work closely together. Your main responsibility will be to do the reporting of the Swedish entity. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
This role will suit an experienced accountant who enjoys working independently within an international matrix organisation. Responsibilities will include:
- Prepare all financial documentation for the month end close and make the proper entries (reserve, depreciation etc.) in IBS
- HFM completion and check
- Support in cost and sales analysis (gross margins, orders and sales entries, etc.)
- VAT, and tax statements preparation
- Intrastat and EU sales reporting on IDEP
- External reporting
- Be part of the forecast and actual results analysis process
- Ensure compliance with Internal and External audit, Tax and legal requirements
- Ensure accuracy of the reported figures
- Be the main contact for Internal and External audit, Tax and legal external partners
- Any common task that can arise within the Finance department.
- Supervise the statutory books for the Swedish RSD entities
- Set up and improve accounting and IBS processes

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The ideal candidate will have a business or economics related degree and at least some years of experience from a similar position. We are looking for someone who will work independently and who is comfortable with taking the lead and initiative. We hope that you cope well under pressure and enjoy working operatively.

You must speak fluent Swedish and English. Finnish, Norwegian or Danish would be beneficial, as you will work regularly towards other Nordic countries. You will be trained in using HFM and IBS. Excel skills on a high level is essential.
