Arbetsbeskrivning

Senior Analysis Engineer (AE) - Digital Analysis & Visualisation

At Research & Development you will be a key contributor to the next generation outstanding luxury cars from Volvo. Together with other engineers around the world, you and your team will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people. Are you interested in design and connected car technology? Do you share our passion for people, the environment and our urge to create a superior driving experience? Research and Development is the place for you to prosper.

The section Digital Analysis & Visualisation (DAV) is part of the department User Experience & Craftsmanship (UE&C) at Volvo Cars. However, the development of virtual tools and methods is equally important, since we strive towards car programs without the needs of prototype builds. You will create simulations with good correlation to actual car and report status in the car programs (Verify requirement). You will also create simulations and/or Visualisations for certain issues in the programs. The main focus in this role is to work with Simulation & Visualisation within Perceived Quality (PQ), but it could also be within any of the other Attributes at the department. You will be the expert on working with our Simulation and visualisation tools. In this role you will also lead the annual development of our simulation methods and processes outside the specific car programs.
