Your challenge - and what you can expect

Do you like challenging technical issues?
Are you driven by the desire to find root causes of a problem?
Do you have a high sense of urgency and accountability?

Then you are the person that could be a part of a competent and skilled team responsible for 2nd line to support subsidiaries and distributors worldwide, of Micronics High speed solder paste dispensing and SMT products. Your time will be divided between:

* Advanced technical support on 2nd line (including electronic, mechanic and software applications) - helping our field service engineers to troubleshoot at customer site, or by e-mail give guidance in solving problems.
* Driving/take part of root cause analyses in association with R&D and Production Quality.
* From a service and product quality perspective review designs and documentation for product development projects.
* Support Marketing like participate in fairs and perform acceptance tests.
* Train newly employed and senior field service engineers in Mycronic's Assembly Solution products (dispensing, jetting and Pick and Place products) from a service perspective.
* This is a global role and you are expected to travel about 10-15% of your time.

Who you are - and what you will need to succeed

You are a true team player with an open attitude, a positive mind-set and a high level of personal responsibility. You are a good communicator and service minded person with a strong technical interest. You have sound and practiced knowledge in troubleshooting, and also preferable, experience from 2nd line support. You know how to clearly explain complex situations both in speech and writing. You thrive in a global and fast-changing environment where your ability to prioritize - and reprioritize - come to its full use. On top of this you need:

* Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Have an understanding in electronic production in a high tech environment.
* Good knowledge in networking and computers.
* Experience in giving training/lectures in electronics, software or process improvements.
* Strong interpersonal skills meaning a team player and having ability to communicate with all levels and disciplines.
* Strong drive to succeed and deliver but remain accountable at all times.
* Valid B-level driving license.
* Fluency in English, written and spoken alike.
