Successful research and socially important environmental monitoring are carried out here. We have over eleven million objects in the collections, which form the basis for our successful research in geology, paleontology, zoology, botany and the spread of environmental toxins in nature. The Swedish Museum of Natural History also offers a leading forum for meetings between researchers and between science and the public.
