Development and Professional Services (DPS) is the department within Group IT that delivers new significantly enhanced IT solutions to support Volvo Car Group's globalisation and growth. The goal is to deliver projects in the Operational Development Plan at the due time and the right cost, content and quality. To be successful in the deliveries, DPS collaborate with the business partners, our colleagues within Group IT and the supplier network. The Program and Project Management Services (PPS) who is responsible for providing best in class processes, methods and tools for business analysis and project and program management, is now looking for a specialist to join our team.

The role as Senior Business Analyst Methodologist will offer you the opportunity to play an important role within the Business Analyst Centre of Excellence (CoE). You will be responsible for implementing improvements in our common global processes DITS (Delivering IT Solutions) as well as in our requirements management tools. In addition you will perform requirement reviews and provide training, coaching and support within the business analysis area to our projects, supporting operational excellence in our business deliveries.

Main responsibilities
· Drive improvements in the Business Analysis and Requirements management area
· Participate in IT Project Start-up Meeting as our Business Analyst Advisor
· Provide guidance on how to tailor the Business Analysis Approach in our IT Projects
· Provide coaching, on boarding and training on business analysis processes and tools
· Develop work-instructions and Volvo Car Group IT specific training material
· Conduct Requirements Reviews
· Continuously improve and develop the business analysis processes and tools
· Provide leadership and guidance (mentoring and coaching) to Business Analysts
· Provide guidance on competences development to business analysts at Volvo Cars Group IT
· Work closely with the Business Analysis development

Required qualifications
· University degree, preferably within Software Engineering
· Experience (min 3+ years) of acting as Senior Business Analyst, involving all phases from Business Development to and throughout IT/SW development
· Excellent knowledge of Requirement Management in software intensive projects
· General software development process skills, both traditional and agile
· Excellent knowledge of Business Process Development, the 6-sigma framework or equivalent.
· Experience in process and methodology development
· Coaching and teaching experience
· Fluent in English (written and spoken)
· Former experience from the Automotive Industry is meritorious
· Meritorious is also experience from CMMi and/or Spice framework
