Sandvik Process Systems, within Sandvik provides advanced industrial process solutions using steel belts, steel belt-based equipment and equipment based on adjacent technology. The Special Engineering department within Global Service & Parts organization is now looking for a Senior Design Engineer with a genuine passion for design. Job Summary
As Senior Design Engineer, you lead projects, both customer and internally initiated, to develop technical solutions for customer and equipment OEM conveying systems across many different industries. You maintain and develop our range of conveyor components and solutions, including control systems. Your tasks include ensuring that planned design schedules are followed, calculating customer offers and taking responsibility for documentation of the Special Engineering group. Moreover, you co-operate with our installation team for external sourcing and manufacturing.

Some international travel is required.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant area. You have several years experience from design and you are familiar with control systems and electronics. Experience from 3D-CAD is a requirement and it is preferred that you also have knowledge of Inventor. As we operate in a global setting, your English skills must be great, both in writing and verbally.
