Senior Embedded Test developer

As a Test developer in integrated Linux systems, you will work with a team of the most competent programmers in the country, in their respective fields. The technology is what is important, but the passion for integrated systems is what takes the field forward.
As a consultant, you will be working with an incredibly competent team of developers and you will learn a lot about integrated systems.

About the work
Along with experienced programmers, you will develop the client's platforms. Mainly you will focus on developing new products, but the job also requires maintenance to some extent.

The focus will be on test and QA.

Your Key Responsibilities Would Include
- Identify test scenarios, formulate product test plan
- Write scripts for automated testing using Python
- Further develop our automated test environment
- Perform tests on system level including network management systems
- Prepare test setups in a lab environment
- Debug along with hardware and software engineers
- Review requirements, industry standards and manuals
- Verify compliance towards standards (ITU, MEF, IETF, IEEE, TNF, etc.)
- Work with SDN (software-defined networking) and protocols such as TCP/IP, Ethernet and OTN
- Evaluate and develop test methods and tools to increase test efficiency and coverage

Education & Experience Necessary For Success
- Master’s degree or equivalent education
- Experience within testing and programming is an advantage
- Flexible, innovative and driven
- Structured and thorough with analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Highly motivated team player
- Driven and willing to take own initiatives
- English, written and spoken

This position is suited for anyone who has a few years of experience or equivalent open source engagements in the field of Embedded Linux.
