Our team


The team includes 5 dimensional engineers (2 permanent, 3 consultants), one technical manager (expert), and one group manager. We also have 3 more consultants working closely with us from another organization and currently, we are starting up collaboration with our colleagues within Traton, with the aim of having a global team working closely together.

What will your main responsibility and tasks be?

As a senior, you will together with our Technical Manager (TM) focus on the long-term and strategic targets for the area – how to ensure and build knowledge within the organization and develop methods and processes to reach those targets.

In your role, you will:


• Support engineers in product development projects in issues related to functional design and geometrical product specifications.
• Work close together with our dimensional engineers, solving design issues related to geometrical variations and design for manufacturing and assembly.
• Support and guide when it comes to geometrical and quality issues in our supply chain, production, or in our trucks out on the roads.
• Educate people and organizations through your normal education and in your everyday work as an expert.
• Present our work to the organization in both small and large forums, adapting info to different level receivers.

What are we searching for? Is this you?

To succeed in this role we believe that you are good at and enjoy establishing communication paths with the cross-functions closest connected to your role and that you like conveying info and creating commitment through an ability to pedagogically teach and actively listen. You are able to take what you already know, and what you learn through contacts with different designers, cross functions, and projects, and use this as input in the long-term strategic work, translating it to defined needs for competence development and methods/process modifications for the entire company. You enjoy working with many different areas of our products and their whole life cycle - In this position one week will never be the same as the last!

We would also like that..


• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, equivalent, or work experience.
• You have 5 years or more of previous experience working with or in close contact with geometrical product specifications.
• You have experience with Catia or similar CAD programs and Enovia for model evaluation.
• You write and speak fluently in English. If you write and speak fluently in Swedish, it is a merit.

Experience with trucks and buses from a design or assembly perspective will be regarded as merit. It is also highly meritorious with several years of knowledge of and experience with Scania and our products.
