Senior Environmental Specialist Water Emissions

Do you like communications and to build and maintain a great network? We are looking for a senior environmental specialist to join our environmental department, are you up for the challenge?

The Environmental Department is responsible for the global environmental protection issues within Volvo Car Group such as management of environmental legal requirements, permits, strategies, targets and Energy Management.

As Senior Environmental Specialist Water Emissions within the Environmental Department, you will have a global responsibility for water issues at Volvo Car Group.

This means that you establish and develop relationships with representatives from many areas and will therefore build and maintain a wide personal network within Volvo Cars. As part of our team, you get access to long term development opportunities in a continuously improving field!

Main responsibilities

* Manage, develop and implement global processes to ensure Volvo Cars environmental performance
* Identify and secure compliance with existing and future legal requirements
* Coordinate investigations related to permit requirements and new water treatment installations
* Support local water treatment plants with key competence

Required qualifications

* University degree, with focus area water chemistry or equivalent
* Documented experience from water treatment processes
* Project management experience
Fluent in speaking and writing English
* Driving licence (B)
