Responsibilities

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key player in the finance organization of the Scandinavian unit, providing Senior Management key financial information that will support decision making, namely by preparing financial forecasts (annual plan, 5 year forecast etc.) over the year, and keeping track of the company's performance against those benchmarks through clear and insightful reporting.

* Prepare financial planning cycles packages for the affiliate to submit to their HQ, such as Plan (commercial unit and legal entity), Update, Long Range Plan and monthly Best Estimates (LBE)
* Lead the monthly Sales and Operations (S&OP) package preparation and delivery, coordinating with all parties involved
* Lead month & quarter end close reporting preparation, including variation vs forecasts analysis and consolidation
* Provide support to Business Finance Managers during high workload periods/planning cycles
* Business Partner of non-brand related departments, helping them to read financials and manage their budgets
* Prepare full package of internal monthly expense reporting and analyze variances between planned expenses and actual outcome;
* Prepare and consolidate internal reporting packages, including AMT Reporting, Daily Sales Flash, and any other ad-hoc reporting requested
* Local lead for Planning systems and deployment of future software solutions and updates;
* Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards

Qualifications

* Master's degree in business administration/Accounting or similar
* 3 - 5 years of previous experience in FP&A, Audit (preferably in a big4), or similar business and financial analysis roles
* Ability to distill complex business/financial situations and questions into simple and clear conclusions
* Good understanding of accounting, namely US GAAP
* Intermediate to advanced level skills with Microsoft Office tools, especially with Excel
* Previous experience with SAP, IBM Cognos TM1 platforms, is a plus
* Fluent English (reading, writing) mandatory
* Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and interact with Senior Management at various levels
* Capable to assume a leadership role and ensure deliverables are completed when due and all the necessary quality review steps were performed
