Construction is responsible to install, commission and finally handover wind farms to the client. Working close together with the client and other stakeholders is a key parameter to ensure this happens safely, efficiently and with a high-quality standard.
After handover between Sales and Construction the Project Manager ensures Wind Turbine Installation projects are planned and executed within the scope of the contract, on time and within budget. Customer relationship management, quality control, safety and leadership towards the complete project team are key functions within this role.
In addition, the Project Manager shall participate within Sales phase in budget and time plan preparation.
Responsibilities
Functional and disciplinary leadership of the team of Project Managers incl. continuous development of expertise through contemporary leadership
Performance measurement and management of team with defined KPIs, targets, regular reviews and definition of strategies/counter-measures for a Portfolio of Projects in the region
Budgeting, target setting and continuous forecasting of team results in line with VNCE Construction Revenue Budget
Ensure world class Safety culture within the team
Close collaboration and alignment with the Senior Manager Sales Support & Value Eng. in regard to all Sales Support activities in the Region
Acting as the Regional Head to secure compliance with local/country specific regulation in regard to Construction activities
Support the development of new markets for execution, aligning closely with colleagues from Construction Sales Support department.
Securing Customer Intimacy, resulting in increased Customer Satisfaction.
Supporting and directing improvement projects within the Construction department
Liaising with Global Construction and implementing related initiatives in the Construction Department

Qualifications
Graduated in a science or engineering field with a minimum of 10 years of experience. You will have a background within project management of similar large-scale projects
Your background from similar project management activities will involve a depth of knowledge on both execution and commercial activities
Customer exposure, experience in customer negotiations, claims management and other related commercial management
People Management Experience would be a benefit
Experience in the construction wind industry would be of interest
Good understanding of Regional Language - DK, SE would be beneficial
Fluent proficiency in English
