We currently have the following job opening;

Senior Managers – Interior

These positions are new and exciting and provides ample opportunity to play a key role in the Interior Department at CEVT. The Senior Manager will be part of contributing, overseeing and leading to a spirit of teamwork among the department. You will also be responsible for developing your team, to secure quality on everyday deliveries. Within CEVT Interior department we strive to have people with different backgrounds, ages, genders, personalities with an open mindset, creating loads of new ideas challenging today’s car industry. You will work in close cooperation with System Manager, who secures concepts and technology. You will get the opportunity to influence, contribute and shape the new role.

The positions are based in Gothenburg but with a Global responsibility and will require travel on regular basis.

The areas to be covered within Interior are: 

Climate (3 positions)

Seats and Restraints (3 positions)

Cockpit (3 positions)

Interior Trim (4 positions)

Responsibilities and tasks

You will be responsible for a team of people within one of the areas mentioned above. Your tasks includes providing guidance to employees to ensure deliveries and personal development. You will build, develop and long term secure the needed competences, capacity and working process within the system team. Together with the system project leaders in your team you’ll also organize, supervise and assure quality of the work activities.

This position also requires representation of the system area in launch phase activities, lead and follow up on change management, including representing the system area in various cross-functional fora. This role reports to Module Team Director with whom you will plan resources and team development needs. Further, you will be part of the module management team.

Profile and Background

You should have experience from leading, motivating and building high performing and diverse teams with strong team spirit. We’re looking for good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and being perceptive. You need to have a flexible mindset being able to lead change and development as well as taking decisions. You should enjoy working in a fast paced changing environment. Background within engineering, automotive experience is an advantage, knowledge within the system area is beneficial. As we are global your English should be excellent – both oral and written.
