Senior Material Flow System Engineer

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a senior material flow system engineer. In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Specify equipment in the form of project specifications, requirements, and generating request for quotations.
Identify and leverage outside partners for solution development and design.
Coordinate with other Northvolt departments (e.g. Construction, Digitization, Supply Chain) to ensure successful execution.
Support and provide inputs in the modelling and simulation of individual technologies and entire systems.
Ensure suppliers understand and adhere to Northvolt’s technical standards.
Work with factory simulation to validate line capacities and develop flow paths.
Partner with the automation and controls team to implement the material flow concepts and system design into functions in the FMS/WCS/FCS/MES.

Education/Experience
Degree in Engineering (Industrial/Process/Production/Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronic/Project/Automation or similar).
Track-record of successful implementation of advanced technical projects/automation systems in a production environment.
3+ years of experience within process-driven or discrete process industries such as: Automotive, Battery, Packaging, FMCG, Mining, Paper Mill, Semiconductors, Fine Chemicals, Pharma, Food etc.
Experience with technical project planning/design/commissioning.
Must have worked in multi-cultural environment.
