SENIOR OPTO ENGINEER

Our group is responsible for the development and management of optical components such as pluggable optics (SFP, XFP), amplifiers (EDFAs and Raman), optical filters (CWDM and DWDM thin film as well as PLC based) and ROADMs.

We can offer you a place in a dynamic team of experienced designers, where we work on optical communications at data rates up to 100Gbps.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As senior Opto engineer you will work with product development and problem solving in our most advanced opto products. You will for example:

- Get an expert role for high-speed transmission (100Gbps and above) and new modulation format
- Participate as opto expert in development projects.
- Develop specifications for optical components ( transmitter / receiver modules, amplifiers)

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Master degree in engineering physics or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in the telecommunications industry
- Familiar in a development lab with advanced opto gear.
