Senior Process Engineer to Nynas Refinery in Nynäshamn, Sweden
Job Description
As Senior Process Engineer at the Engineering department you will lead process engineering work in the projects performed in Engineering as well as support to Nynas refineries and business in tasks where process engineering expertise is required.
You will lead Pre-Studies and Basic engineering projects in different size projects, focused at the major projects, and development activities for the improvement of the refineries.
In the execution phase of the projects you will be responsible to cover the tasks for the process engineering discipline like instructions, turn over procedures and performance test.
The position is based in Nynäshamn and travel is required to support all Nynas sites worldwide.
The successful candidate should preferably have a Master of Science in chemical process engineering or equal, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience from process engineering in refinery or petrochemical industry, where You preferable have been involved or responsible for tasks in, process safety, operations as well as in projects. You have experience in refinery unit processes as distillation, hydrotreating and there supporting processes.
If you also have god experience from using simulation tools like PetroSim and Hysys or other simulation tools this will be a merit. In the seniority role, You will have as a task to educate and learn younger engineers in there development.
You are fluent in English both in writing and speaking.
Swedish and German knowledge is a merit.
