This position is based in Uppsala, Sweden or Freiburg, Germany where Thermo Fisher Scientific develops, manufactures, and markets complete blood test systems to support the clinical diagnosis and monitoring of allergy, asthma and autoimmune diseases. How will you make an impact?
As a Project Manager your main responsibilities will be focused on running Product Development Projects, together with the Project Management team and other IDD departments. You will be joining a team of 7 other Project Managers, one Coordinator and the role reports into our Director of Project Management. What will you do?
- Manage cross-functional teams of professionals responsible for product development from early stage until launch.


- Be accountable for project objectives, results and timeline.


- Manage project decision making.


- Be responsible for developing and communicating strategies, goals and long-term vision for projects.


- Implement and coordinate actions to improve team motivation and shared understanding.


- Ensure and facilitate cross-functional collaboration.


- Assess project risks with the project team, propose and follow-up mitigation and contingency plans.


- Ensure appropriate reporting of project progression inside and outside the team.


- Issue the project core documentation.


What will you need?
- A technical or scientific university education and preferably a project management qualification.


- Extensive and proven experience of program & project management (in international matrix organization)


- Experience in IVD development and registrations


- Experience of international project management


- Capable to assess complex matters and find and propose solutions.


- Strong people manager, with capability to motivate, coach and develop program/project team members.


- Skilled in change management


- Driven, structured, result-oriented and excellent communicator


- Trained and experienced in Design Control, and knowledgeable of regulatory requirements for immunodiagnostic products


- Used to working cross-functionally in an international matrix organisation.


- Proficient in written and oral English


- Proficient in Swedish or German an advantage depending on location (Sweden or Germany)
