ABOUT THE ROLE
Now there is an opportunity for you to join the Volvo Buses product development unit and contribute in the development of our new products. As a Senior Project Manager Engineering, you will have the responsibility to lead and drive our projects towards meeting new demands in the society around the world. You will manage the Engineering project management team and interact closely with, Product Planning, Service Market, Purchasing and Manufacturing to secure a complete product delivery including verification to ensure customer uptime.


You will be responsible for the project deliveries and report to senior steering committees and the Chief Project Manager. The work requires a broad perspective from high level product requirements and concept development in the early phases to the later project phases managing planning, development and delivery for manufacturing. In addition to this you will take an active role in developing future ways of working in our projects, with a lean and customer mind set.

You have successfully managed and guided relevant product development in the automotive business as project or line manager with strong drive, self-motivation and self-managing resulting in your cross functional team together solving what is laying ahead easily.

You have a masters degree in engineering or equivalent and 5-10 years of experience from product development in the automotive sector. Experience in SAFe and Agile ways of working is meriting.
