Alfa Laval runs product development and drives product strategies through a number of Product and Business Centres. The Business Centre for separator systems in Tumba is responsible for research, development, testing, project management, product maintenance, product management and sales development for the separator system range.  The main objective of the centre is to improve the profitability of the separator system business through our initiatives and activities.


Alfa Laval have a great ability to capture new business opportunities in new markets by identifing the customer needs in the new market and then developing our separator and system in order to meet the demands. At the moment we need to strengthen our project management team with a senior project manager with experience from systems and automation.

The person we are looking for should have:
• Minimum 10 years’ experience of  project management mainly from running new product development projects
• Deep business understanding, budget, time plan, project scope, risk analysis and quality approach is important
• Experience with technically complex projects creating customer values
• Ability to create high performing project teams
• Very good communication skills
• Knowledge of stage gate project models

In addition your skills and experience include process, automation and instrumentation to be applied on e.g. oils, fuels, and water cleaning treatment. Experience working with systems onboard seagoing vessels and on land based plants is an advantage. Things  that are important for you are structure, demand specifications, beeing clear and keeping promised deliveries. The Project Office has a key role in the Business Centre and it contributes significantly to the achievements of the Business Centre. You will be located in Tumba, south of Stockholm, and report to the Project Office Manager.
