About our client
Green Tech Marine – a world leading marine scrubber manufacturer – develops innovative and high-performance solutions within environmental and energy-saving technology for the maritime and offshore industries. The young company’s leadership has extensive experience and expertise in the marine industry. Green Tech Marine has offices in Norway and Sweden and will shortly open up an office in Miami. Our compact exhaust gas scrubber for ships have proven to be very successful and we therefore need to expand our Project department in Gothenburg with more technical skilled persons.

Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for someone to lead our purchasing activities and support our engineering business with supply chain recommendations. Applicants should have previous experience in sourcing and purchasing. Suitable background is from marine- or process industry. You will work in a challenging, fast moving and developing industry. In addition:

•You have more than 3 years of relevant work experience
•You are a skilled negotiator with excellent communication skills in English
•Ability to analyze financial reports, price proposals and other technical data.
•Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
•You have an open minded and flexible attitude

Duties and Responsibilities
•Purchase the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts. .
•Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.
•Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods.
•Knowledge of supply chain management.
•Support Project Managers with sourcing of material
•Establish article numbers and update MPS system
•Sale for aftermarket needs.
•Supporting the sales team with supply chain recommendations to meet the acceptance criteria based on the current requirements and specifications

The position is located at our office in Gothenburg but requires travels to Suppliers worldwide. You will work in an international environment so you need to be skilled in the English language, both in speach and in writing.
