Senior Quantitative Market Risk Analyst to SEB in Stockholm

Do you want to take the lead on the risk analytics function within Market Risk Analytics & Modeling? SEB is now looking for a creative and analytical person who is able to drive the quantitative analysis work forward together with the quant tech lead and other colleagues within Market Risk. This is a strategic role for the market risk team and you will be forming strong relationships with key stakeholders within Markets and Treasury as well as within the Group Risk organization.

About the job

You will become the functional lead within the analytics function and together with the quant tech lead develop the analytical framework for advanced consolidated analysis. You will also be responsible for delivering ad hoc analysis as well as the monthly reporting to management and key stakeholders.

Who are you?

To be successful in this position you are a self-driven, proactive and creative team player. You have a master’s degree within engineering with a good understanding of the financial markets and products with focus on valuation and risk modeling. Important tools for data analytics are Python and SQL, but the toolbox will most likely expand in the future.

In addition to the above technical and domain specific capabilities, communication and presentation skills are essential to be able to explain complex topics clearly to key stakeholders and management.

Your personal qualities include:

Master’s degree within Engineering (or similar)Experience from quantitative analysis and understanding of the financial markets and productsProgramming experience (SQL, Python)Strong analytical skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsFluent English skills, both in speech and writing
