Bioassays is a section within Biopharmaceutical R&D, which contribute to process development by development of methods for analysis and characterization of biopharmaceutical processes and candidates. The work is performed in cross-functional project teams in a highly collaborative, experienced and engaged environment.

Your work tasks will be:

• Development and characterization of cellular assays (Bioassays), e.g. receptor mediated cell uptake, reporter gene assays, to determine biological activity of biopharmaceutical proteins for CMC development
• Statistical data processing
• Parallel line analysis
• Sample analysis to support process development, protein characterization and release testing of clinical trials material according to cGMP
• Practical responsibility of laboratory instruments
• Contribute within the section and project teams by actively share results and ideas
• Advisor to development projects, QA/QC and Regulatory affairs about bioassay strategies and be able to answer authority questions
Qualifications:

• PhD in Life Science or equivalent.
• 5-10 years of experience in cellular assays
• Practical experience in working with bioanalytical methods - cell based assays.
• Practical experience of other techniques such as SPR, flow cytometry, binding assays is a merit
• Statistical analysis
• Experience of working in a GMP regulated laboratory environment is a merit
• Experience in development of bioassays to support CMC development of biopharmaceuticals in an industrial setting is a merit
• Able to write clear laboratory notes and technical reports
• Fluent in oral and written English and preferably also Swedish
