Senior system administrator

As Sys Admin @ Fyndiq your quest, together with your team (a.k.a Guardians of the Infrlaxy), is to ensure that our bargain hungry consumers are able to reach their favourite webshop, 24 hours a day, every day of the week. And I can assure you that all of our visitors (2 300 000/month) really appreciate our DevOps team for doing so.



You as a humble rebel at Fyndiq will:

- Make an impact on how our new cloud based infrastructure will look like.

- Manage the underlying systems so that the application can run, which includes firewalls, load balancers, storage, databases, VPN’s and other areas

- Work closely together with our awesome developers, supporting them in their work.

- Optimize servers to be able to handle a steadily growing quantity of traffic.

- Operate and maintain tools and services such as Puppet, Elasticsearch, MySQL and Redis.



So pack your bags with lots of experience, such as:

- Working with systems with high availability requirements.

- Systems that can handle large amount of traffic / data.

- Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.

- Scalable and service mindset.



The fyndians’ on the DevOps team consists of 4 members - 2 Cloud Engineers, a SysAdmin (that will be you) and a backend developer. There is also an Agile Coach/DevOps Hublead to help you out. They’re great at what they do and you can always count on the DevOps team. But that’s not all, they’re also wicked at Foosball! Yep, there have been many Fyndians trying to beat them, but they have always failed miserably. If this sounds like your kind of team, you know what to do.
