About the position
As STOE at Icomera you will be responsible for development and operations of both internal and production systems, you will join a growing team of 3 engineers who deliver systems that enable high-speed Internet access on board trains and buses all over the world.

You will interface with the R&D-organization, customer support as well as marketing and sales.

The technology
Icomera uses a wide array of technologies to deliver their services , you will be working with:

? Linux (Debian) and Windows Server
? SQL and Databases (MySQL / Postgres)
? Storage and file systems (ZFS, LVM, NFS, Clustered storage)
? Networking (L2 and L3)
? VPN (OpenVPN, IPSEC)
? HTTP, SSL/TLS, Certificate management
? Webservers, proxies and load balancers (Apache, NGINX, HAproxy)
? RADIUS
? Virtualization and containers (KVM, VMware, LXC, Docker)
? DNS, DHCP, NTP, SMTP
? Version control (GIT, Subversion)
? Scripting and basic development (Shell, Python, Ruby)
? Java VM
? Amazon Web Services

The tech stack is quite extensive and you are not expected to know it all, however we are extra interested in candidates who are proficient with:

? Database skills, both technical DBA and data modelling.
? ZFS
? LVM
? Network and OS(kernel) tuning in Linux

Your background
Our ideal candidate has experience of working in a large industrial organization as well as in a delivery focused consultancy company. You are used to delivering pragmatic solutions, we’re looking for a problem solver with a good mix between technical know-how and service mindedness. Bonus if you have experience of standardizing a technical solution from an enterprise perspective

Good proficiency in English is required. Swedish is preferred.
