We are looking for the best people to join us on our journey. Right now, we are searching for a Senior Technical Operation Specialist in our Stockholm office - are you ready to hit play on an exciting career change?

The role
The Technical Operations Center (TOC) is a central function within the Product, Data & Tech organization. The team operates 24/7/365 working in different shifts and is responsible for monitoring the Viaplay platform from both a systems & infrastructure and security perspective. The TOC team is built into two different units: TOC agents/professionals and TOC Engineers.

As a Senior Technical support specialist, you will work in shifts - daytime, evenings, and weekends on a rotational basis. You are expected to take a leading role in our quest to deliver a stellar performance within the following fields of operation and to continuously develop these capabilities.

-
Systems observability & monitoring: The TOC team continuously monitors the organization's systems to ensure they run smoothly and detect potential problems. The team collects data on system performance and work from start to finish on all processes regarding systems monitoring, routine health checks, and Incident & Crisis management.

-
Disaster recovery: The TOC team orchestrates the development and maintenance of disaster recovery plans to ensure systems can be quickly restored during an outage or disaster. They work closely with other teams to ensure that disaster recovery plans are aligned with business needs and goals.

-
Security: The TOC engineers ensure the organization's systems and data are secure. Security entails implementing measures such as intrusion prevention to avoid unauthorized access and monitoring systems for security breaches.

-
Automation: The TOC team strives to automate processes and tasks to improve efficiency and reduce the risk of errors. They work to automate software deployments, backups, system updates, and other routine tasks.

-
Data analysis: TOC professionals analyze incidents and logs and bring data to life. They are results-driven and continuously develop metrics that allow the organization to strive for excellence.
