Senior web test / QA engineer

About the role

Saltside Technologies is looking for a senior Web Test / QA Engineer to join our office in Gothenburg. You will be working alongside our skilled developers on our web applications, assuring it?s high quality. That will include managing our test strategy, verifying the quality of newly built features, writing automated tests and testing our application across different browsers and mobile devices.

Saltside Technologies develops and operates websites in emerging markets, with focus set on online classified sites. Currently Saltside operates the top classified sites in Sri Lanka (ikman.lk), Bangladesh (bikroy.com) and Ghana (tonaton.com), and we also operate in Pakistan (dekho.com.pk).

About you

Required
- You have a true passion for quality software and amazing end user experiences
- You have a drive to constantly learn and grow as a tester
- You have at least 3 years of working experience in testing web applications
- Strong experience testing on mobile devices and across browsers
- Experience of manual testing, exploratory testing
- Automated testing using TDD
- Automated test engineering
Meriting
- Knowledge of working with automated tests in Selenium and FitNesse
- Knowledge of the Ruby programming language
- Knowledge of Rspec and Capybara
- You have excellent command of the English language, written and spoken
