Service Engineer – Husqvarna Construction

Husqvarna Construction is looking for a Service Engineer.

What we can offer you:
Aftermarket and Services is one of the core strategic priorities for the Husqvarna Construction Division. A new team for Service Training and Product Technical Support will be created within the Aftermarket & Services category to execute on the strategy by strengthening the foundations and capabilities needed to further build strong relationships with customers. This team will also hold other functions and we are therefore looking for a Service Engineer. You will be part of this journey to a new set up that will allow for improved service towards sales companies and end customers.

About the role:
Your main responsibility is to monitor and control the key performance measurements of complex, broad-based and distinctly different customer support agreements (e.g. extended warranties, maintenance and repair contracts, etc.) involving the technical and risk mitigation strategies.

Here, you'll have the chance to work with: (not limited to)
· Responsible for the service maintenance intervals and repair needs of the customer’s equipment.
· Analyze the performance of service contracts, comparing actual component lives and repair intervals relative to original proposal.
· Audit active service contracts to ensure that proper operational practices are being followed and that potential exposures are being identified proactively.
· From the above analysis, identify the major drivers of poor performance and the associated risks of each service contract.
· Provide specific recommendations to sales companies responsible for managing service contracts on items needing attention and the necessary resources to meet the commitments.
· Assist the aftermarket controller in the reserve analysis to ensure that there are adequate provisions to cover future liabilities associated with service contracts.
· Oversee the preparation of annual component replacement plans and periodic forecasts for all service contracts.
· Participate in the development of standard templates for all service contracts offering.


Location: This position is based in Jonsered or other major Husqvarna location. At Husqvarna we use a hybrid working model where possible.

About You:
You enjoy working in an international environment
In your work, you will have frequent contact with both colleagues and customers all over the world, which is why it is important that you are an open and communicative person, comfortable communicating in English.

We also see that you have:
A University Degree in relevant field.
Several years of experience from Construction- or Mechanical Systems Industry.
Understanding of, or experience to, service operations.
Solid understanding of reliability, risk and statistical analysis.
Prior experience working with statistical, reliability and risk analysis is very helpful.
