You will work with both our sales & professional services teams to assist customers in applying unique & best in class Search for SharePoint solutions across a variety of industries.

Candidate will be at ease working with clients at early stages of SharePoint projects including pre-sales, search strategy, solution design. The role requires significant delivery capability, responsible for designing & implementing SharePoint Search solutions within SharePoint. Advanced training will be provided on FAST Search for SharePoint.

Consultant will undertake activities on a project-by-project basis, either individually or as part of a larger team, & projects will vary in duration. Candidate will have the opportunity to deepen their Search & Consulting experience &develop their career with a market leading Search consulting practice.

Position is in Stockholm, travel within Sweden & Europe may be required.

ABOUT THE CANDIDATE:
Candidate must demonstrate the following experience & qualifications:
- 3-5 years diverse experience in SharePoint architecture, analysis, design & development
- Clear understanding of SharePoint architecture, topologies & best practices
- Knowledge of upgrade paths & strategies for SharePoint products
- Understanding of enterprise infrastructure in relation to SharePoint, including: Database technologies, Active Directory, networking, storage & authentication (Kerberos etc)
- Experience of Scrum ? Agile methodology
- MSc/BSc in Computer Science or related field
- Previous experience of FAST or other search solutions is desirable

Technical skills required:
- SharePoint Server 2010, 2013 or Moss 2007
- ASP.NET - SQL Server - WPF - SharePoint Designer
- Visual Studio/TFS
- Microsoft Office 2007, 2010 or 2013
- Microsoft OCS/Lync (desirable)
- HTML5 (desirable)

Functional/subject area domain experience in one or more of the following:
- SharePoint.
- Collaboration solutions.
- Customer facing applications (e-commerce, media, content site, extranet/intranet).
- Financial service applications.
- Business Intelligence &/or Data Warehousing applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with internal & partner led teams to develop the best search solution
- Support & feed into the technical architecture of the solution
- Be actively involved in designing & implementing Search solutions on the SharePoint platform & related components
- Be responsible for the delivery of Search on the SharePoint platform, the changes & upgrades necessary to meet the business objectives
- Provide technical input and business knowledge to ensure efficient design, programming & implementation
- Understand performance issues & approach them systematically
- Conduct technical studies & evaluations of business area requirements & recommend appropriate technological alternatives
- Maintain an objective and up-to-date market perspective across this continually evolving technology

In addition to thorough knowledge of SharePoint, the candidate must be:
- Customer focused with a demonstrable interest in each customer?s business requirements, & the ability to build lasting customer relationships
- Able to work with a diverse range of stakeholders encompassing user and technical communities through to Senior Management
- Possess strong verbal & written communication skills when working with internal & external teams to achieve successful business outcomes
