Sheet Metal Engineer - Catia V5

The section Rear Floor Engineering is developing structure from start until approved project launch components in advanced engineering project as well as in new cars. The team develop engineering solutions that fulfill attribute properties such as Crash, NVH and Strength/Durability while fulfilling manufacturing process demands within set cost and time frames.

As a Sheet Metal Engineer, Catia V5 you will have possibilities to influence how the final product will be received by our customers and contribute to reach our overall targets. The work includes contacts with other engineering departments, CAE teams and manufacturing engineering within our company as well as with external suppliers.

Main responsibilities
· Catia V5 sheet metal engineering
· Create and lead the technical system development of our area
· Contact with CAE, other R&D members and manufacturing to agree of required progress
· Follow up prototype car builds and manufacturing of the prototypes
· Be responsible to ensure that the technical documentation (3D Model, TCE, 3DPMI) is available at the right level and at the right time

Required qualifications
· Technical education at university level or equivalent experience
· Minimum 4 years engineering experience in Catia V5
· Fluent in English, spoken and written
· Good knowledge in sheet metal design is meritorious
