Shift Quality Leader

The section Propulsive Vehicle Control works very close to end customers and is responsible for development of control algorithms and calibration of the in-house developed software 'Propulsive Vehicle Control'. This means we develop control algorithms, calibration and verification of shift schedules and shift quality for automatic transmission. Read drivers intension, from the accelerator pedal or from the speed limitation functions, to request a torque from the engine.

As Shift Quality Leader (SQL) within the group 'Shift Controls and Calibration' you are responsible for defining and leading assignments that aim to deliver solutions to obtain world class Shift Quality for our customers. You establish and develop relationships with designers within many system areas of the vehicle, as well as building an understanding of the designs within those areas. In this position you will therefore build and maintain a wide personal network both within R&D as well as in the aftermarket organisation. You have degrees of freedom to form your deliveries and to develop your own skills, both technically as well as in the area of leadership. Main responsibilities

* Coordinate Shift Quality assignments, driven by issues identified in projects or from the field
* Communicate Shift Quality issues, solutions and activity time plans to project leaders, managers as well as suppliers
* Collect and structure information, such as analysis and measurements, to help the team identify the best solution for each and every Shift Quality Issues



Required qualifications

* BSc in engineering; electronics, physics, mechatronics or similar
* Documented experience from assignment leadership in the automotive industry
* Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
* Drivers license B (car), BE is meritorious
* Leadership experience is meritorious
