Signal Database Engineer/Systems Architect
The electrical architecture team at CEVT is responsible for overall strategies for electrical designs, communication and dimensioning of electrical systems in the whole car.

As a signal database engineer at CEVT you will work together with the team that works with the cars electrical architecture and communication strategies. You will play a key role in setting up the tool-chain for electrical signal database generation. The role also includes creating and maintaining the signal database.

Your work will involve realizing the needs from local and global teams within the communication platform, as well as analyzing new concepts and strategies to assist our organization in the best way, such as applying agile development methods to enable continuous integration/delivery etc.

Responsibilities and tasks
• Realize the communication needs within the signal database.
• Support local and global development teams.
• New concept and workflow development.
• Strategic work for future platforms.
• Work in close cooperation with architecture team and ECU component owners.

Profile and Background
• M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent area.
• At least 5 years of experience of automotive embedded systems, preferably within Signal database and communication area.
• Experience from LIN, CAN, Flexray
• Experience from Ethernet and Mentor Graphics VSA toolset is an advantage
• Excellent in co-operation, networking and with an eye for detail.
• Ability to learn from others quickly to then teach, lead, apply knowledge and work independently.
• Experience from CEVT CMA or Volvo Cars SPA Platform is an advantage.
• Cultural awareness, especially Asian – European culture
