Site & Logistics is a part of Workplace Operations which is an exciting internal function within IKEA of Sweden. As a Site Coordinator, you are an important player for making things run smoothly. Do you take pride in keeping the exhibitions in tip top shape? In that case, this role will make you go to work with a smile.
Workplace Operations (WPO) provide services in a professional and reliable way that support the creation of pre-requisites for the many co- workers to do their job efficiently in an inspiring atmosphere. WPO is responsible for a variety of workplace related services within facility management, development, and production of workplaces at IKEA of Sweden. The same support can also be provided to other Inter IKEA companies. WPO also secure operational Safety & Security needs and requirements are being met in IKEA of Sweden locations in Älmhult.
We are now looking for a Site & Logistic Developer to join our amazing team!
The Site & Logistics Developer is responsible for the development of the operations, processes, and routines within specified areas.
You will take lead in the development and secure implementation of systems within the scope of Site & Logistics and develop and implement ways of working within Operations to meet the needs and demands. You will also develop, create, implement, and follow up processes and routines within assignment. To lead workgroups within operations scope to develop and maintain successful service and business deliveries comes natural for you and you are responsible for meeting the Breeam certification demands within Operations.
Furthermore, you will:
• Be in lead of your own and operations development towards set goals
• For specific business needs provide service and support for operations connected to Site & Logistics, to add further value within the whole purposed scope of WPO
• Participate in Safety & Security assignment
• Take responsibility to contribute to a healthy work environment, concerning Physical, Organizational and Social work environment.
To shine in this role, we want you to have the ability to lead and develop business with a holistic view; always act with the clients, supplier, total IKEA, and total cost development in mind and to represent IKEA towards external suppliers. To be analytical - being able to structure, prioritize and determine relevance and accuracy of information, to see patterns, derive conclusions and predict consequences of actions. To simultaneously lead different assignment and show good leadership with the capability in leading through others, great, communication skills and ability to work cross functions
And:
• Deep knowledge within the area of Facility management
• Strong knowledge within logistics and supply chain
• Good knowledge and understanding of the IKEA processes and organizations
• Fluent in English both written and verbal
